B / R / O / W / N = dirt, coffee, chocolate, cardboard, spirit animals. "Even at my lowest, darkest place, the place where I contemplated the end, I still found I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. Ok, and maybe a sweet. At least I have something, I thought. I believe you do, too. Look for it."
R / E / D = talk therapy, karaoke, riding a bike, tough love & the A team. "If it feels you have no one to talk with right now, try karaoke. Rent a room for an hour, just you, and rock out cuz it feels incredible. How loud can you sing when nobody’s around? It’s time to find out."
O / R / A / N / G / E = laughing yoga, comedy, fast food, board games. "Fleetwood Mac's “Landslide” would make me cry and cry. One time I filmed myself on my phone singing to it, because I thought it was so deep. Then I watched it and it was so, so bad that I laughed my ass off."
W / H / I / T / E = movies, light boxes, mashed potatoes, fortune tellers. "Sadness warps your understanding of the future. You’re convinced you don’t belong there. Try consulting an expert – a psychic, a tarot card or palm reader, etc – and grab a second opinion. Wow, that's weird. I just looked at my crystal ball for fun and the Future says you make it through."
